Mining Away Freedoms: Testimonies from Communities Fighting for their Rights in the Philippines

· Publications

Mining in the Philippines has long prioritized profit over people and the environment. This publication documents the lived experiences of communities in Nueve Bizcaya and Dinagat Islands, exposing the human rights violations, environmental destruction, and struggles for survival brought by large-scale mining. By centering voices of indigenous women, it asks whether responsible and sustainable mining is truly possible.
