  • Our Focus

    Power to Indigenous Women

Our energies are devoted to amplifying indigenous women's voices, recognizing and profiling their leaderships, providing platforms for their actions and advocacies, and linking solidarity work among other women, among peoples, and among societies.

  • Power to Indigenous Women

Our focus and energies are devoted to the necessary and appropriate support and tools for indigenous women such as community learning sessions, skills development training, and an indigenous, multigenerational, fem school.

  • Community Learning Session

LILAK has initiated and co-organized Community Learning Sessions on rights, policies, feminism, and other subjects relevant to the struggle of indigenous women for cultural, economic, social, and political empowerment.

    Indigenous Women Mentorship

The iWomen or Indigenous Women Mentoring is one of the flagship programs of LILAK.

iWoMen is a comprehensive learning program that will cover human rights, women's rights, indigenous peoples' rights; theories of feminism and indigenism; climate justice; basic concepts of economics; relevant laws and policies on natural resources, and social justice.

The design of the program is specifically to set an environment of critical thinking, and decolonizing and engendering the issues and methods used by the participants as leaders.
